Cilantro Essence
of Young Coriander Plants
Cilantro is the Spanish name for coriander (Coriandrum sativum, Apiaceae), which is rich in essential oils. In a range of cultures from Central America to China, this herb is traditionally given together with meals for digestive stimulation and intestinal care. The term "Chinese parsley" is also based on the use in the Chinese kitchen. Moreover, experience has shown that cilantro is suitable for the support of detoxification and cleansing treatments.
For the production of "cilantro essence", young coriander plants are put through a special extraction mechanism in fresh condition immediately after having been harvested. The obtained fresh extract is directly filled in original bottles. This approach helps to preserve the pleasant characteristics of fresh coriander. Cilantro is available as dietary supplement with 50 ml.
